8th October 2003 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car Park, Borth Wind Direction: Westerly Wind Stength: 14 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 16ºC Sea Temperature: 16ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: The wind had dropped a little in comparison to the last few days, so I was looking forward to a nice cruise on bigger kit in sunny conditions. The wind was around 18-20 knots so I rigged my 5.7m and my 100 litre Cross, but as soon as I got on the water the wind dropped off and I couldn't get going. The water was a horrible dark brown colour too. Probably a result of decaying autumn leaves washed down from the rivers. |
